I’m thrilled to announce a new commissioning consortium with GRAMMY-nominated poet Todd Boss.
Together, we’ll create a 20-minute, multi-movement work for mixed choir, piano, and cello exploring the journey that leads us to love.
Only 12 choirs will have the opportunity to bring this new work into the world. The score will be delivered in July 2027, with exclusive performance rights from August 2027 through June 2028.
The name of every founding choir and conductor will remain permanently on every copy of the work, regardless of publisher.
Todd and I also encourage shared premieres: two local choirs can share one commissioning spot and split the cost by premiering the work together. It reflects the heart of the piece: finding someone with whom to share the journey.
