Some pieces thrive as wide-open repertoire. This one doesn’t. Odes of Love is written to create intimacy, presence, and that sense of a shared “now” in the hall. Limiting the State Premiere is my way of protecting that first public moment and giving the word “premiere” some weight again.
The full performance pack is delivered on June 24, 2026 because the World Premiere window is already assigned. This schedule protects that agreement while still giving you materials in time to plan Fall 2026 and the 26/27 season.
