Where the miracles born - stages of Laurea Mundi Budapest

  • Have a look inside - find out where competitions will be held at Laurea Mundi Budapest and the International Honor Choirs, where Artistic Directors Henry Leck, Treble Choir, and Gábor Hollerung, Mixed Choir, will conduct a program celebrating the legacy of Zoltán Kodály which will premiere a new Hungarian composition.

We are really excited to present a great concert hall and rooms for the Competition Concerts in Budapest.

Budapest Music Center (BMC) was founded by a Hungarian trombone player and academy professor to establish a music information centre which collects and makes information about Hungarian classical and jazz musicians and about contemporary compositions available world-wide. Besides its library function BMC has organized classical, contemporary and jazz events for almost twenty years in Hungary and abroad as well.

In 2013 a new musical center of BMC opened in the heart of the cultural and educational district of Budapest with a big concert hall, a cozy jazz club and wide range of technical service.

After meeting music in the past we will be back at this great place as one of the event halls for Laurea Mundi in this July.
