Artistic Director for Musica Eterna Roma

  • You don’t know a lot about Michele Josia, one of the artistic directors of Musica Eterna Roma?


    Michele is a film composer and choir conductor with an extensive experience gained in over 15 years of artistic activity all over the world. He has performed countless concerts and recorded numerous CDs as conductor and assistant-conductor. His ensembles are prize winners in regional, national and international choral competitions; he got official recognition by the Public Fund for cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia, including the prestigious "Plaque of the Mayor of Jesenice" for cultural merits and for the national and international successes gained over the years.


    He is working also active in the film music business as composer for soundtrack and has been a guest lecturer at the prestigious "Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmaking" in Sedona, Arizona (USA). Michele Josia is a member of the Italian Film Academy and jury member of the David di Donatello Awards, the Italian equivalent of the Oscars.
