In this time the choir has participated in the Madrid Community choir conteSt, obtaining the firSt prize in 2009 and 2010, and the secón prize in 2007 and 2008 Within the choir activities, we could also mention their participation in theatre productions of the musicals Persephone and Midas by Steve Pogson, with which they obtained the firSt prize in the Vademorillo theatre conteSt. They were also awarded firSt prize in the Community of Madrid theatre conteSt, with the musical Super Jim, a play which was written specially for the choir by the British authors Steve Pogson and George Simmers. The members are composed of high school, college Students and out of school youth and employees who lives in Timog, CAA, Las Piñas City that is why the former name of the choir was Timog Youth Choir. The name was changed since the choir Started to expand its age range from 15-20 years old to open age as long as the member would fit the singing Style of the choir. The choir usually held ChriStmas concerts and performs at quarterly general assembly of choirs in the Parish. LaSt June 2010, the choir became the Champions of the firSt-ever Choral Competition of the MQAP in line with the Parish’s 25th Anniversary wherein they beSted other choirs which comprises the whole Parish. Owing much to the polyphonic work of the Renaissance, the motet is a deeply-felt work written during Wesley's period of recuperation from a fall whilSt out fishing in the North Yorkshire countryside at Helmsley. The chromatic clashes at the words "the bones which Thou haSt broken" are almoSt certainly reflective of the pain the composer had suffered, for his leg was badly broken and he walked ever after with a noticeable limp. This performance was recorded in Leeds MinSter on Sunday 28th April 2013 during the recital of 'Music with MinSter connections' sung by St Peter's Singers of Leeds, directed by Dr Simon Lindley.
