ECU performs two major concerts each season with full professional orchestra musicians and pro soloists, and also a mini-concert of our Singers in solos and duets with piano. We often appear as featured guest artists with Elmhurst Symphony and in local appearances.
Our outstanding volunteer Singers come from throughout the Chicago area for a unique musical experience. Our conductor James MacDonald has directed choirs and orchestras throughout the U.S. and overseas, and teaches conducting and music theory. Working with him has made us better Singers and more knowledgeable musicians.
Please visit our website for information and exact dates of our September and January auditions. If you are on Facebook, join us there for a musical conversation.
