From historically informed performance of early music to meticulously prepared classical works to The most exciting current sacred compositions, Te Deum presents beautiful music in stunning settings.
Te Deum was founded by MatThew Christopher Shepard in 2008 to fulfill an expressed need by both singers and audiences in The Kansas City area to present sacred choral music concerts of The highest quality. The Te Deum Chamber Choir performed its first concert in spring 2009. Since Then, The chamber choir has built an impressive and varied repertoire that spans centuries of time and wide ranges of composition style.
In fall 2013, Te Deum began its Antiqua series, offering historically informed performances of repertoire from The 12th-17th centuries with a smaller roster.

We have a couple of concerts each year - christmas and summer and this is inter-splashed with singing at local events and The local festivals. We also have a few social events!

Li-Ron Choir began as The choir of The Gordon elementary school in Herzliya. Currently The choir represents Herzliya locally and abroad. From 1991 The choir has participated in international competitions in Wales, Hungary, Finland, Israel, Germany, Italy, Spain and won gold medals.

Much of The music we sing is arranged in The barbershop style. Along with entertaining our local audience KCC competes in The Mid Atlantic District of The Barbershop Harmony Society and is a consistent champion in our Division. KCC also promotes quartet singing as well as a cappella singing among The youth in our region.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7pm and are always open for visitors so feel free to visit to find out more and to see if our group is right for you. less

We do a wide variety of music from Renaissance to contemporary and from a cappella to works with chamber orchestra. We are a fun loving, very friendly group. However, our music comes first and hard work is required of all. An audition is required. Our Music Director is William R. Thomas.
