• In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.

  10-17 Temmuz tarihlerinde Avusturya'nın Graz kentinde düzenlenen Dünya Koro Şampiyonası'nda, Çağdaş Müzik ve Folklor kategorilerinde 'DÜNYA ŞAMPİYONU', Karma Korolar kategorisinde ise 'Dünya İkincisi' olan Boğaziçi Caz Korosu; şampiyonların yarıştığı 'Grand Prix'de ise 2 altın madalya kazanarak toplam 5 altın madalya ile Türkiye'ye döndü.
