Following in the footsteps of such distinguished predecessors as the world famous Le Mystere de Voix Bulgares, who won a Grammy award in 1989 and brought Bulgarian folk to world-wide audiences, we are committed to preserving and celebrating this unique style of singing.
We are named after a mystery ourselves - Veda Slovena, The Vedas of the Slavs, was a compilation of folk songs from Thrace and Macedonia published in 19 c., which is still considered a mystification.
With an international cast of singers we are a living proof that true musical beauty and wisdom know no borders - neither national nor spiritual.
Veda Slovena Bulgarian Choir were chosen Choir of the Day at the Croydon audition round of Choir of the Year 2014 and performed successful concerts at Brandenburg Choral Festival, International Sangerstevne Choral Festival, The Convent in Stroud, as well as at popular club nights (Up... less

Founded in 1934, the Victoria Choral Society has played a leading role in Victoria's cultural life, and has performed with every Victoria Symphony conductor since the Symphony’s inception.
The Choir was created after 200 singers, representing most of the church Choirs of the day in Victoria, assembled in 1934 to sing Messiah. They agreed to continue singing together to promote choral music, and the Victoria Choral Society, at that time called the Victoria Choral Union, was formed. The instrumentalists who played with the Choir later formed the Victoria Symphony.
