Despite the lively melody, the lyrics tell a story of longing and heartache, creating a mix of emotions that resonates with both joy and sorrow. Ne vous fiez pas à l'apparente gaîté de sa mélodie : il s'agit bien là d'une supplique à l'être aimé, où l'espoir d'un éventuel retour dispute sa place à l'amertume de l'abandon. Conducted by Jad Harjane Composed by John Dowland Filmed by DIAZ PRODUCTION at LADABATEK , Tangier Sponsored by THE AMERICAN LANGUAGE CENTER  less

It is sung by Calaf, il principe ignoto (the unknown prince), who falls in love at first sight with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. However, any man who wishes to wed Turandot must first answer her three riddles; if he fails, he will be beheaded. The video is an excerpt from a concert in Welshpool, UK.
