The Concert Choir gives a number of performances in SouThern California every year, and has also toured in Canada, Hawaii, Europe, and The United States. The Concert Choir performs a variety of accompanied and unaccompanied repertoire, and collaborates annually with The CSUF University Singers to present performances of choral-orchestral masterworks. They have joined The University Singers in performances with The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and The Pacific Symphony Orchestra. for The past four years They have represented CSUF at The Pacific Southwest Intercollegiate Choral Association Festival of Choirs. Currently in residence at The Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch on Manhattan's Upper West Side, The Chorus performs an eclectic range of music, from a cappella compositions to works for chorus and orchestra, from countries around The world. Our diverse repertoire spans The 14th to The 21st centuries, including recent performances of The Brahms Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Bach's Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio, as well as new commissions by Kristin Kuster, Elliot Levine, and Jonathan David. Phillip Cheah joined The Chorus as its Music Director in 2010.  less

Composed of about forty members, our group p...  moreOur association is situated in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in The heart of The National Park of The Mercantour, in The souThern Alps, north of Nice in The south-east of France, 50km from The seaside (Côte d’Azur). Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself eiTher as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs. We celebrated in 2015 The thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to The promotion of our region, The «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to The development of choral singing (see examples below).
