The 21 Classically trained outstanding vocalists of The Nathaniel Dett Chorale have shared the stage with internationally recognized artists such as Juno Award-winning jazz pianist Joe Sealy, singers Molly Johnson and Jackie Richardson, and opera star Kathleen Battle and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. The ensemble has performed for such luminaries as opera singer Jessye Norman and Dance Theatre of Harlem founder Arthur Mitchell. The Chorale has performed at events honouring world leaders Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, personality Muhammad Ali, and pianist Oscar Peterson and was the only Canadian ensemble invited to perform as part of the celebrations surrounding the historic inauguration of President Barack Obama in January of 2009. less

The Family Singers ensemble was founded in 2013. The composition of members is unique in the international Classical music world: all members are from one large family: six siblings between 8 and 21 years of ageand the two parents.

Artistic leader: the parents, Zita and Vilmos Tóth, but the children also participate in creating musical conceptions and decisions.
The parents have been singing in Choirs since they were children and have participated in numerous competitions, festivals and courses. The children have also sung in Choirs from an early age, usually singing solos. They study singing, musical theory and instrumental music.
Our purpose is to promote the miracle of singing and music - that we owe so much - to people. With each passing year we strive to sing more and more beautiful compositions with a higher quality of performance.
Our mission is to contribute to the distribution of Zoltán Kodály’s spiritual heritage, his musical education method, and to promote it Worldwide.
