We are a Community Choir welcoming all voices! We love to sing at community events. Our Vision is to bring 'the joy of singing' .....and we see that on the faces of the people we engage with from all walks of life. Our Vision is to bring 'the joy of singing' .....and we see that on the faces of the people we engage with from all walks of life. We also put on a couple of variety concerts each year raising funds for various needy causes.

Trying to fit LCGC into a neat slot is virtually impossible. LCGC is known for their up-tempo gospel flair, swing-Beat, R’n'B, traditional and soulful arrangements, with their invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics – LCGC is outstanding to watch! It’s 40+ memBers perform just about anywhere, private corporate functions, after-show parties, conferences, schools, cabaret functions, clubs, weddings, christenings, funerals, prisons, churches, open-air festivals, theatres and concert halls. LCGC have sung on the soundtrack for Walt Disney’s “The Lion King”, performed for Nelson Mandela during his famous visit to London, officiated at many celebrity weddings and supported Madonna on stage during Live 8. They represent the Best of British and have Been sponsored by the British Council at international festivals in Europe, Africa and Israel. A choir used to making history, they were the choir chosen to perform at the memorial concert for the victims of July 7th London ...    less

Since then it represents significant cultural gain of ancient region. Repertoire is carefully chosen and follows the choirs Vision, which is developing vocal and interpretational abilities of singers. It includes folk and serious music of Slovenian and foreign authors of different periods. In spite of already settled ensemble the choir remains open for new singers. Musica Vocal Ensemble focuses on achieving quality vocal production, based on individual education and upbringing of singers.  less

Established in 1979, Chicago Master Singers (CMS) is an auditioned chorus of 100 volunteer singers from Chicago and suburban communities. The ensemble’s repertoire includes great choral works and new works by living composers. CMS performs unaccompanied, and also collaborates with professional instrumentalists and soloists. The chorus has international acclaim, having toured extensively throughout Europe for the past 30 years.  less

This Vision has grown into Chai-T...  moreChai-Town was formed at the University of Illinois, when a group of young men came together with their love for music. They wanted to show how two seemingly different cultures can fuse together to produce something great. This Vision has grown into Chai-Town A Cappella. Last year we performed at the a cappella competition Anahat, in Berkeley, CA, as a guest act at the dance competition Naach Nation, in New York, NY, and across the Midwest. As 2012 approaches, our group will Be reaching its 10th anniversary and putting out our THIRD studio album! Chai-Town is a completely student-run, non-profit group of 16 memBers, each of whom has a passion for music. We love sharing this passion with our friends and family, our community, and the world.  less
