We are an auditioning, non-professional chamber Choir, performing a diverse programme of repertoire at regular intervals throughout the year. We draw our membership from the hugely successful EC4 Music, a Choir and orchestra that is widely regarded as one of the leading large amateur groups in London, and it is from this platform of success that CCoV takes its lead. EC4 Music recently performed at the Barbican for the fifth time, raising money for The Prince’s Trust and is also very excited to be making its Royal Festival Hall debut in October this year to mark the grand finale of the Lord Mayor's Appeal 2011. Lord Mayor, Michael Bear's appeal supports children’s charity Coram and RedR, a charity that trains and provides engineers and other relief workers to respond to worldwide emergencies. We think everyone can sing and complete beginners, shower singers and pros are all welcome. With no auditions and no requirements to read music it’s all about the enjoyment of singing. We sing for 3 terms a year and each term ends with a fantastic end of term charity gig, it’s great to be able to give back to the local community whilst enjoying ourselves so much! We sing everything from Queen and Aretha Franklin to Hozier and Florence and the Machine, and have members ranging in age from 20-70, there is really something for everyone! This is our Choir's 10th year and we're always looking for new members, so if you fancy a sing please get in touch.
