Founded in 1951 by the late Richar... moreChorus Inspira (formerly the Richard Eaton Singers) is dedicated to the enjoyment, study and performance of great choral music, to an international standard of excellence, and to fostering the appreciation of this music. Founded in 1951 by the late Richard S. Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural community for more than seven decades. In addition to presenting its own concerts, the Choir is a regular guest of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and collaborates frequently with other Edmonton ensembles, including the Alberta Baroque Ensemble. It has also collaborated with other Canadian Choirs in the past, including the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. less

The 35 members of Bat-Kol, ages 12 to 18, perform with the Israeli Opera, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as well as taking part in theater productions, television programs, national public events and concerts for the general public. The Choir has participated in numerous international festivals and competitions in which it won many gold medals. In April 2011 the Choir won three gold medals and the Grand Prix of the Slovakia Cantat international competition in which tens of European male, Female and mixed Choirs competed. less
