With about 150 singers, an organization team of 12 permanent members, a professional engineering and logistics crew, a band consisting of professional musicians and a passionate director Gospelnight Dresden fulfills all requirements to offer visitors of worship a memorable evening in meeting with the joy of the Gospel. BUMC Jazz Choir 2008 members, the winners of the IKSV Young Jazz 2008, who have boosted their success by attending to the most prestigious a cappella contest in the world, 'Vokal Total', in both pop and jazz categories and won 2 'Silver Diplom's and also have sung many times in many festivals such as the 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival and the Akbank 18th Jazz Festival. they also gave special concerts with Sertab Erener (ESC 2003 winner). the group carries on with their professional musical careers under the name “Istanbul Essence”. This type of song can be deeply personal or spiritual in nature, often dedicated to a human being, an animal, or a landscape as a personal signature. According to music researchers, joik is one of the longest living music traditions in Europe, and is the folk music of the Sámi people. Its sound is comparable to the traditional chanting of some Native American cultures.
