It is situated on the south coaSt of the County of Cornwall, the area of England protruding into the atlantic Ocean facing North America. Male voice singing is traditionally very popular in the county, there being 33 federated choirs numbering 1,300 Singers out of a total population of nearly half a million. The choir was formed in 1974 and quickly matured into one of the leading and largeSt male choirs in Cornwall. It now has over 55 members including several founder members. The choir gives around 25 Concerts each year, raising many thousands of pounds for various charities. On the 10th July 2010 they celebrated their 900th public appearance. During a Concert tour of Gibraltar in 1979 they performed in the famous St. Michael's Cave. Though founded and based in Whitby, our membership is made up of residents from all over Durham Region and the GTA. We truly represent and reflect the diversity of the Region in which we perform. The choir currently numbers 70 to 80 choir members ranging in age from 18 to 80.

We also preformed successfully abroad in PeraSt, Montenegro and Praga.
