In Abgrenzung von Kammer- und Kirchenchor stiftete Der Name „JedweDer Küchenchor“ eine Identität, die es in Der Folge erlaubte, sich quer durch das Repertoire Der Musikliteratur zu singen. Nach den anfänglich ausschließlich musikalischen Chordarbietungen, entdeckte Der Chor immer mehr die Lust zur kreativen Bühnengestaltung und begann dramaturgische Elemente in die musikalische Darbietung einzubauen. Für das Programm „Familie Grinzinger besteigt einen Berg“ 1997, engagierte er erstmals eine Regisseurin (Nika Sommeregger), die den Chor bei Der Inszenierung unterstützte.
