The University Chorale is the touring ensemble for the choral department. The ensemble performs a wide spectrum of the finest choral literature. The group performs extensively throughout the Southwest and will be singing at several venues in Washington D.C. during December of 2013. The group primarily consists of vocal music majors, however, there are singers representing several other academic disciplines. The University Chorale has been under the direction of J. Steven Walker since 1984. Dr. Walker is the Director of Choral Activities and a Linscheid Distinguished Teaching Professor at East Central University. He has served on the music faculty at ECU since 1983.  less

We are a group of friends who got to know each other while singing in the same academic or Chamber Choirs. Eventually, our passion for the classical music led us to create our own vocal ensemble. In our repertoire there are also some pop music arrangements.

The International Singers hold a unique status amongst Choirs in France by means of our repertoire and composition. Bringing together very nearly 40 mixed voice singers all sharing the same passion, they hail from countries from around the world and representative of 4 continents. The repertoire consists principally of contemporary music with anglo-saxon origins and from the very best of musical theatre as seen in London's West End or on Broadway in New York. The International Singers are beginning to wow the people of Lille and the surrounding areas of Northern France with concerts in public venues as well as at private functions organised by civic bodies as well as associations etc. Musical Objectives The International Singers is a Choir structured around anglo-saxon values and traditions. We a...  moreShades of Harmony is a Women's A Cappella chorus based in Williamstown, NJ. We are also a member chorus of Sweet Adelines International. We enjoy sharing our love of singing in 4 part harmony with performances throughout the southern New Jersey area. We also attend and compete in the Sweet Adelines Region 19 convention annually. We welcome women of all ages (teens to seniors) and all vocal ranges to attend a rehearsal and find out what we're all about.

Under the direction of soprano and singing teacher Michelle Nova, the singers perform an eclectic repertoire of classical, sacred, operatic and modern choral music. Their unique sound is characterised by its vibrancy and fullness, a result of the bel canto technique which all the singers are trained in.

Composé de près de cent choristes issus de Meudon ou de communes voisines, le Chœur de Meudon a pour objectif la diffusion d'œuvres chorales sacrées ou non de toutes époques, du Baroque au XXème siècle, au rythme d'environ deux programmes par an. Le Chœur de Meudon se produit avec des formations orchestrales professionnelles ou amateur tant à Meudon que dans de grands lieux : églises de La Madeleine, Saint-Louis-en-l'Ile, Saint-Roch, Salle Gaveau, Atrium de Chaville, Cathédrale d'Evry... Open to beginners or those wishing to improve their technique with industry professionals from the UK. Over 12 weeks students will follow a curriculum tailored to helping each student develop at their own speed in all three areas of the artform. In Singing students will leave voice techniques, explore ensemble singing and perform a variety of repertoire. In acting students will learn how to develop character in scenes and songs, explore the physical journey of a character, improve stage presence and text analysis. In dance students will look at a variety of jazz techniques core to musical theatre dance as well as perform several musical theatre routines.
