Palace Acappella is a new community choir, based on the Crystal Palace triangle. We sing all types of music - all a cappella - with a simple ethos of fun, community and freedom. Everyone welcome!

The Avalonian Free State Choir is an unaccompanied natural voice choir with a repertoire of songs from all around the world, including salsa vocal percussion, the awe-inspiring stillness of sacred songs from Georgia and the heartbreaking melodies from Bulgaria.

The emphasis is on enjoying singing together with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Everything is taught by ear - no written music is used at all. We perform at community events and have members from across the mid-Cornwall area.  

We're a choir of about 40 adults who enjoy singing contemporary and fun songs in a relaxed environment. We rehearse on Monday nights above a pub in London SE22. We currently have a waiting list for Alto and Soprano parts but we're worth it!

Cunninghame Choir is an amateur choir based at Beith Community Centre, N. Ayrshire. We perform 2 concerts a year and cover a wide range of choral genres.

The Choir is known for its friendly and embracing nature and the current 34 men & women members who are very keen to welcome new members of all Voice Parts. The Choir's repertoire and is made up of a wide selection of musical genres which appeal to both members and audiences alike.Composers and arrangers are generally modern from UK and USA. Stage songs/ medleys are particular favourites of choir members.  less

Its aim is to provide opportunities for young singers at the early stages of performing careers...  moreEstablished in July 2009 by Adrian Green and Alexander Norman, Convivium Singers is a group of musicians who perform a wide variety of vocal and choral music. Its aim is to provide opportunities for young singers at the early stages of performing careers, as well as for talented musicians who have chosen not to pursue careers in the music, but wish to continue singing to a high standard. They currently comprise singers from many established choirs, including Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir, Ex Cathedra, Armonico Consort, The Choir of Royal Holloway, Genesis Sixteen, Portsmouth Cathedral and York Minster. The group specialises in undiscovered or little-known British music, and in the music of the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. Working with its Guest Conductor, Neil Ferris, Convivium Singers have recorded two discs of contemporary choral music by Jonathan Dove (NAXOS – due March 2012) and Hugh Benham (Convivium Records – due November 2011). There are no auditions and the standard of music that we produce is consistently high. We are regularly supported by high quality professional soloists and orchestras with the result that we produce highly enjoyable and satisfying concerts for audience and singers alike. We believe that anyone who enjoys singing should be able to experience the fun of making music with other people. All we ask is enthusiasm and a willingness to join in! Whilst in all parts of the choir we have some excellent singers, capable and willing to perform solo or in small groups this is not a requirement for joining. Our concerts are at various venues in and around th...  moreWe are a small chamber choir of 20-25 singers founded 55 years ago, based in the London borough of Hillingdon. We perform a wide repertoire of secular and sacred music, with and without accompaniment. Our concerts are at various venues in and around the borough, and once a year we perform with a small professional orchestra. We also hold regular social gatherings, to include families and friends, and enjoy musical evenings and events. Would you like to sing with us? New members in all voices are warmly welcomed. After a few weeks there is a short informal audition, which includes some sight-reading. Members are asked to pay a modest subscription of £11 per month by direct debit. We rehearse weekly during term time on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, in the small parish hall at All Saints Church, Long Lane, Hillingdon, UB10 9BT. The small parish hall is behind the main church hall, and can be accessed from the side entrance.  less
