It is a registered charity centred around the Kenfig Hill community of South Wales, UK. We also have two associated youth choirs 'Da Capo' and 'Crescendo'. The choir's history stretches back to 1896, with a few gaps. The latest incarnation was re-founded in 1972.

We uphold the tradition and art of male choral singing through the camaraderie of choral membership and in entertaining our audiences. We give our own concerts several times a year in Norwich and beyond, as well as appear at events by invitation. We were Special Guests of 'The People's Soprano' Rebecca Newman at her 2012 and Spring 2016 tour Norwich appearances and we put up a team to challenge the Eggheads for quiz supremacy! Cantorion was founded by Colin Jones in 1992 when he invited Singers, who he knew and had taught and conducted previously in other choirs across North Wales, to join his new chorus. El Coro Lux Dei nació el día 8 de abril del año 2012 bajo la dirección de Alfonso Ortega Mantecón en la Parroquia Santa Rita de Casia ubicada en la Ciudad de México, D.F. Surge debido a la inquietud de formar un coro religioso en el que se buscara innovar y ser diferentes a lo tradicional en este ámbito sin llegar a apartarse del objetivo primordial que es acercar a los fieles a la Eucaristía a través de los cantos. Tras el debut del Coro Lux Dei en abril el grupo siguió creciendo en número de integrantes como en calidad vocal e instrumental. El primer gran evento que fue encomendado al grupo fue la animación del tradicional rosario con motivo a la fiesta patronal el día 22 de mayo del mismo año.
