Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself eiTher as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs. We celebrated in 2015 The thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to The promotion of our region, The «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to The development of choral singing (see exampLes below). Their mission is to entertain, educate, unite and uplift Their audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence. Their philanthropic mission is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and The community. On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded Their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The Singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of The chorus. These Singers represent a variety of majors and The general population of The University’s student body. They made Their Carnegie Hall debut on Easter Sunday in 2012 with The New England Chamber Orchestra, and have performed for various state and divisional ACDA and NAfME conferences. The MSU Singers made Their European debut in Paris and Normandy during The summer of 2014 and performed 8 concerts to acclaim during The summer of 2016 in Austria and The Czech Republic. We do a wide variety of music from Renaissance to contemporary and from a cappella to works w...  lass="view_more_link" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">morelass="view_more" style="display:none;">Tidewater Singers is a group of amateur and professional Singers founded in 2001 to bring varied, exciting quality vocal music to The Eastern Shore of Maryland. We do a wide variety of music from Renaissance to contemporary and from a cappella to works with chamber orchestra. We are a fun loving, very friendly group. However, our music comes first and hard work is required of all. An audition is required. Our Music Director is William R. Thomas.
