We sing most types of choral Music, and have occasionally dipped our toes into both jazz and folk repertoire.

Their conductor is Voicu Popescu and his art of harmonizing the Choir’s voices turned them into very sensitive singers. Their strength lies in the power of the emotions they share with their listeners. With a very wide repertoire, including traditional Romanian songs, madrigals, gospels, byzantine Music and jazz, they enjoy every single minute of singing the Music of the world. We are committed singers, who can prepare Music independently before a short intensive rehearsal series, and have opportunities to perform some of the great works from the classical choral repertoire to a high standard and in exciting venues.
We also enjoy singing simple Music well at smaller performances on our rehearsal weekends and at conference events.
Although our performances are mostly in Ireland, we have quite a few singers from other countries, including UK, France, Germany and Sweden.
During 2020, we have held online rehearsals using Zoom and produced two online concerts, raising 11,000 Euro for charity. less

+++Lateinischer Text+++
O salutaris Hostia,
Quae cæli pandis ostium:
Bella premunt hostilia,
Da robur, fer auxilium.
Uni trinoque Domino
Sit sempiterna gloria,
Qui vitam sine termino
Nobis donet in patria.
Amen.
+++Englischer Text (Literal Translation)+++
O, salutary Victim,
Who expandest the door of heaven,
Hostile wars press,
Give strength; bear aid.
To the Triune Lord,
May there be everlasting glory;
that life without end He
to us give in our homeland.
Amen. less
