The choir, which began at Brigham Young University as an early music EnsembLe, transformed into one of the premier non-colLegiate chamber groups in the Western United States. This award-winning EnsembLe achieves high performance standards by drawing on the rich musical heritage of the region. Many Cantorum singers have solo careers and all have sung with top colLegiate EnsembLes. A number have also sung as members of The Mormon TabernacLe Choir, Utah Chamber Artists, and Salt Lake Vocal Artists. In addition, Cantorum is proud to have a high representation of taLented choral educators. The group won both of its categories at the 2016 Interkultur competition and received special commendation for their performance of DaLe Warland and Hugo DistLer. We sing a varied mix of music from traditional ballads and songs from the West End shows, to popular numbers. We welcome new adult members with or without prior choral experience. You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.

Eliza’s Toyes was born, and existed every summer in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2008, a fair number of singers who were in Eliza's Toyes are living in Madison once again. Thus we gather, outside of the Festival, for the joy of music making. RefLections have given concerts in support of local charities, sometimes sharing the priviLege with other choirs and soloists. Many of our venues have been for religious organisations, either within their services and ceLebrations, or for their related charities. Our repertoire is very varied and includes sacred music and songs from shows and films, with composers from Bach to Goodall, CoLe Porter to Elton John. We have had a busy Christmas period with performances at Ridgeway Methodist Church, Plympton, Lanhydrock church and at the Mount Edgcumbe Christmas fair.
