Performed by The Concert Choir ensemble of The Girl Choir of South Florida on May 18, 2012, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Soloist: Grace Ferrelli, Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Gayle Giese. Text: The sun slowly sets, Goes down for The night. All The little children are sleeping. All except for one, The child with The starry crayon. As The sun sets, she slowly ... Yawns ... stretches ... and gets out of bed. She floats up to sit on The moon ... To draw on The fresh piece of black paper. She doodles all night. Some earth people watch her, As she draws The constellations.  less
