Singers in this Ensemble demonstrate a high level of commitment to choral singing and to sharing this art with audiences at home and around the world. The Chamber Choir forms the core of Cantilon’s touring and recording program and participates in many exciting and unique activities throughout the year. The Chamber Choir performs locally in concert at least four times per season, and competes in music festivals at local, provincial and national levels. The Chamber Choir generally follows a three-year touring cycle: a regional tour in year one, national tour in year two, and an international tour every third year. In addition to its regular concert series, the Chamber Choir is often invited to perform with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton Opera and the Richard Eaton Singers.  less

It has given guest performances at festivals, events, and venues such as Vienna’s Konzerthaus and Musikverein, Styriarte, Osterklang Wien (Easter Music Festival, Vienna), Salzburg Festival „Pfingsten+Barock,“ Bruckner Festival, Linz, Chamber Music Festival Lockenhaus, and Music Festival Grafenegg. It also performs regularly at the Jeunesse (Musikalische Jugend Österreichs) concert series in Vienna and has formed a special partnership with this institution. In recent years, Chorus sine nomine has increasingly played international venues, among others at the Ravenna Festival, Théâtre de Champs d’Élysées, Paris, London’s Barbican Hall, and Munich Philharmonic Hall. Warwickshire Young Voices provide high quality musical activities for children from age 2 to age 16 through a range of classes, choirs and workshops. ICanto’s repertoire is eighty percent a capella and the choir interpretes all genres of Classical Music, from ancient to modern as well as rearranged traditional Malagasy music. Texts are available in Hebrew and in Phonetics, we translate and learn to pronounce and sing together, and have an archive of all the songs and the various harmonies recorded separately to make it easier to learn and join. It's a lot of fun. Hebrew Groove is a young, contemporary, Hebrew Vocal group based in Amsterdam. The repertoire consists of Hebrew pop songs from all periods, retouched with the groovy piano and close harmony Vocal arrangements of conductor Noam Vazana. As the premiere chorale Ensemble at OSU, the OSU Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Steven Zielke, has garnered national attention and international awards. While touring Eastern Europe in 2001, the choir received the Grand Prize at the Festival of Light in Bulgaria, and in April 2006, the Chamber Choir was selected as the only collegiate mixed choir from outside of the state of Utah to perform at the 60th Music Educators National Biennial Conference in Salt Lake City. The choir has performed in many exciting venues, including a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Smetana Hall in Prague and at Strathov Monastery in Prague Castle, the first choir allowed to perform in the monastery in decades.
