Founded in 1958 the Phoenix Chorale’s mission is focused on building a vibrant community through song and enriching lives through choral artistry. Every one of its outstanding artists lives in Arizona, many of whom direct music activities in Phoenix metro-area schools, community colleges, and teach voice lessons. We rehearse once a week. Our repertoire is mainly Classical a cappella but we have participated in arena concerts with Andrea Bocelli, Chess in concert, I Love Musicals, Zelda, Morricone and others. In 2016 we won the Cork Int Choral competition.

In recent years it has frequently collaborated with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Other recent projects include Schnittke’s Concerto for Choir and Rachmaninov’s Vespers.
