The group named DEKOR Chamber Choir is composed of experienced choral Singers from various parts of Slovenia, who in the past used to Sing in renowned Slovene and some foreign vocal ensembles. Driven by the desire of thorough preparation of quality choral projects, the choir works under the leadership of Slovene and foreign guest conductors. The choir prepared their inaugural concert, entitled In the Beginning, in cooperation with young Finnish conductor Dani Juris The topic of creation coincided not only with the central composition of the concert, Copland’s In the Beginning, but also with the choir’s first public appearance and presentation of the concept of their work. Among the carefully selected works by Slovene and other authors, three were performed in Slovenia for the first time: Aaron Copland’s In the Beginning, Cyrillus Kreek’s Onnis on inimene (Blessed be the Man) and Ole Gjeilo’s Unicornis captivatur (Captured Unicorn). We offer an opportunity for young people to Sing and produce music both formally and informally through regular rehearsals and concerts, as well as local workshops and residential weekends.  

This month, children and adults will be Singing side by side at carol concerts across the UK. The concerts will include works from new collection Carols for Everyone, which features seven carols arranged for SATB choir and children’s choir.   ...

Pleading for Words is a special architecture of music and the word that outwardly expresses contact between very different aesthetic criteria but glows with the same devout message: a personal spiritual testimony. The program concept is based on the attitude toward primary spirituality: from intimate thought to more outwardly expressed manifestations. Slovenian spiritual creativity can be summed up in threefold diversity: confessional, agnostic, and atheist. Our repertoire is varied (Gregorian, Renaissance, Baroque, American standards, popular Spanish Song, Opera, Gospel, etc..) We actively participate in cultural life of the towns of our influence, like Colmenarejo or Galapagar and in other towns like El Escorial or Valdemorillo, performing at Christmas, Easter, the festivity or "Galapajazz" as "opening act" of "Manhattan Transfer" and Art Garfunkel. We sang in PORTUGAL, Burgos Cathedral, the Church of the Magdalene Torrelaguna, the Monastery of St.. Domingo de Silos, Mecerreyes Church and Collegiate Covarrubias (Burgos), the Iglesia de la Santa Cruz of Carballiño (Orense), the Iglesia de Sta. María of Requena (Valencia), Ntra.
