Hi. I live in Moscow. I graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory. I'm art-director and conductor of the Pokroff Chamber Choir. I organize summer choral and a cappella festivals in Moscow. My new project - a Unified portal of open festivals in Russia www.music-festivals.ru . Russia is a very big country, but we do not know where and what is happening. My portal - is an attempt to combine open music festivals and competitions (choir, folk and brass band), to create a single information space, the "festival map" of Russia. The portal is developing all the time and we plan to launch a full version in foreign languages. Russia has long been a closed country. Very few people know a foreign language. We also invite foreign festivals to place information in Russian. So many Russian choirs will be able to learn about foreign festivals. You're welcome to Russia!

Its creative efforts and dynamic development in 1999 permitted the choir under the sponsorship of t... moreThe POKROFF (translation: Protection of the Virgin Mary) Chamber Choir was set up in 1993 by its director and trumpeter Andrey Goryachev as a church choir. Its creative efforts and dynamic development in 1999 permitted the choir under the sponsorship of the Voice of Russia Radio Company to record its first CD – “Divinity in Sound”.
Two more CDs were recorded in 2003 and 2005, devoted to Christmas and Easter. Since 2000 the choir began touring not only in Russia but also abroad, visiting Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, Italy, Ukraine, Moldavia, Croatia, Montenegro, BiH and Estonia.
The choir also took part in television shows in Russia and abroad, such as in the “Bregenzer Advent” in 2002. Apart from regular concerts and recordings, the choir also minds it spiritual roots, regularly taking part in church services, both routine and special ceremonial, such as Episcopal services at which it frequently performs.
