The group is formerly known as Chorus Leviticus, from the word "Frisco" it means San Francisco Del Monte, it is a small town founded by our patron San Pedro Bautista during 1590, the group is comprised of mostly students, out of school youth, young professionals and music enthusiast from the Parish Youth and Music Ministry of Archdiocesan Shrine of Santuario De San Pedro Bautista in Quezon City,which is also known as one of the oldest church in the Philippines and the provincial house of the Franciscans. As our patron saint San Pedro Bautista, a Franciscan missionary, a saint who lived in our community, and who was the first missionary to teach liturgical music to local children and organized church choirs in the Philippines. We are living with his mission and envision ourselves with his aspiration, by offering our God given talents, and exploring our talents in different genres of music. We believe by using this gift this will be our medium in spreading the word of God thru music.
The group founded in the year of 1998 as member of San Pedro Bautista Music Ministry as a regular choir in prayer meeting, mass and community services. In 2010 a group of young music passionate people was gathered to form what is known as Chorus Leviticus and through the advice of our parish priest and decision of the members and founders, year of 2013 we have change our name to FrisChorale. From today’s generation FrisChorale compose of members who are trained and part of their High School Glee Club, University/College choral group, community choir and different chorister around the metro, it also included the aspiring members who are willing to be trained and offer their commitment to serve the Lord. Our passion in music enabled us to continue our service, and giving back the glory to God. The group started to open their gate to performed and accept invitation in different corporate activities/community affairs, such as television show, mall shows, joining festival, choral competition and different kind of events. The group continuously delivers and develops their musical skills and aptitude, together with the collaborative support of many people, who has been part of our inspiration.
