Our mission is to spread a message of respect for The natural world through music from across The globe, and we have performed at events such as Glastonbury Festival 2013 Opening Ceremony, and The United Nations World Environment Day concert in Staines and in Oxford Street, central London. We welcome men and women of all abilities, and sessions are taught by ear so no experience is needed, just a passion for singing and a love of The earth! Our Musical Director is The renowned Susie Ro Prater who has supported choirs and natural voice movement workshops for many years. Our very enjoyable choir practices take place once a month at The HyThe Centre in Egham, Staines, easily accessible by train from Central London and free parking onsite. Under The guise of oTher names, we have been in continuous existence for over 50 years and are currently conducted by The highly experienced and talented Dr Sarah Penicka-Smith. We meet on Monday nights at Trinity Chapel, Robert Menzies College from 7.00-9.30pm during school terms. There are no auditions and everyone is welcome, regardless of musical experience.  

We are an SATB choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a wide range of sacred and secular choir music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

Musica is an un-auditioned, community choir. We sing everything from Schubert to Gospel. We love to challenge ourselves and try new things. We come togeTher every week because we LOVE to make music togeTher and we love The way singing makes us feel :)

Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThe...  moreThe Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThers”. During our musical season (September – June), The choir practices on Monday evenings from 7 – 9:30 PM at BRoadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond. In addition to our weekly practices we usually plan one or two workshops with a choral clinician, as well as evenings with guest directors. We have two major performances per year, a Family Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. We are very involved with our community and, by giving benefit concerts, help to raise funds for oTher organizations such as The Richmond Hospice Society, Canadian Cancer Foundation and Tim Horton’s Kids Camps. Based in Winchester, The chorus currently has about 40 members of all ages who come from across SouThern Hampshire. We continue to meet regularly via Zoom while we're unable to gaTher face to face. The chorus has competed locally, nationally and on occasion internationally, as well as entertaining local audiences at public and private events.
