On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. the singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of the chorus. In their first four years, this volunteer group of songsters has already learned 42 songs, released their first CD, racked up 53 performances for 32 organizations across Middle Tennessee, and produced a successfu...    less

Along with entertaining our local audience KCC competes in the Mid Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society and is a consistent champion in our Division. KCC also promotes quartet singing as well as a cappella singing among the youth in our region. Ever “In Tune With Excellence”, the Alliance competed this past Summer in Las Vegas finishing 15th in the world, and in previous years has finished as high as 4th place! In addition to the competition circuit, the Alliance Chorus also has had many opportunities to give back and perform for the community. We have a simple philosophy, we all love to sing but we want to do it in a professional way without the rigid formality and structure of traditional male voice choirs. We love to sing and perform a wide range of musical styles from pop and rock to classical standards. If it is good music we will sing it.
