However since 1973, it participated in various national choir competitions and repeatedly won the first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of the most established choirs in indonesia. in several occasions, the choir has been given the chance to perform in events attended by the President of indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with other choirs and orchestras. in 1968 PSM-ITB organized the 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). We are directed by the dynamic Scott inglis-Kidger, a music graduate from Cambridge University and previously a countertenor in the renowned King’s College Choir. Scott selects a fabulous range of music for us to work on and we are incredibly lucky to be supported by a professional orchestra and top professional soloists. All of this, combined with the commitment and enthusiasm of our members, makes for performances which are thrilling for the audience and exhilerating for the singers. We still retain a sense of joy of singing and of friendship and celebrate all our concerts with parties at our local Battersea pub.
