We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own sound as well as that of our Choir's. We have a strong Folk influence and a variety of pieces that keep us challenged and growing. Directed and trained by singing teacher and Choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony project where all singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it. They are all amateur singers. The Choir forms part of the multi-Choir model of the University of Pretoria, the others being the UP Jacaranda Children’s Choir, UP Camerata.
