Undertakes to be a space for youth have contact with concert Choral music. The group sings a diverse and technically challenging repertoire, exploring different sounds and new musical languages. In his repertoire are works by composers as Janequin, Scarlatti, Bach, Beethoven, Whitacre, Widmer, Stroope, Jobim and Ronaldo Miranda. The styles range from classical to popular, jazz, spirituals, sacred music, Brazilian Popular Music, opera and musicals. Since its formation is conducted by Altamiro Bernardes and has Lana Bernardes as assistant conductor. The Choir members receive training in vocal technique, music reading, perception, music history, harmony and musical aesthetics, always in the context of Choral activity and a language for young people. Duel of the Fates is my favorite song from the Star Wars saga. Watching and hearing the music performed by Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and Coro Sinfónico Lisboa Cantat was amazing. If I wasn't holding the camera, I would have been waving my lightsaber around. I get so hyped up hearing this.

As the premiere Chorale ensemble at OSU, the OSU Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Steven Zielke, has garnered national attention and international awards. While touring Eastern Europe in 2001, the Choir received the Grand Prize at the Festival of Light in Bulgaria, and in April 2006, the Chamber Choir was selected as the only collegiate mixed Choir from outside of the state of Utah to perform at the 60th Music Educators National Biennial Conference in Salt Lake City. The Choir has performed in many exciting venues, including a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Smetana Hall in Prague and at Strathov Monastery in Prague Castle, the first Choir allowed to perform in the monastery in decades.
