We were originally founded as a workplace choir for K Shoes (taken over by Clarks) of Kendal, Cumbria in 1969. We have around fifty members and support local and national charities. We are a very friendly choir and welcome new members.

The 2012 National Small Chorus Champions proudly showing off their gold medals just before a "Parade of Champions" public concert. In the warmup room in the Bruce Mason Centre Theatre, Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand.

The Songmen sing Guy Lewis's arrangement of Mr. Bojangles in the Concert Hall at the Musikhochschule as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Musick Festival on 3rd August 2011.
