We are specifically aimed at experienced singers who want to work quickly in a non-regular rehearsal setting. Imagine a Book Club for Choral singers! Each session every two or three weeks, we will look at a couple of new songs, chosen by differend members of the group, from the whole history of music, form Monvererdi to Madness. We have two experienced conductor/singers who will be happy to lead any session, but all singers will be encouraged to lead their own song choices if they wish. the aim, in the first intance, is to have fun exploring as much Choral repertoire as possible, in a fun and collaborative enviroment. We do not intend to book up concerts straight away - once we've had a few meetings and looked at enough repertoire then we'll think about performances. Let's work to get the music right first! At present the choir has 34 members. the group’s repertoire is very eclectic: from spirituals to sacred polyphony, from pop music to regional and international folk songs. the ensemble has performed in many beautiful churches and other landmarks in Rome and in Central Italy, with concerts in the most important concert halls in the capital city and festivals in many wonderful villas and palaces scattered around the countryside near Rome. In 2007 and 2009 the choir participated with great enthusiasm in the International Choir Festival in Val Pusteria. In the 2010 regional choir contest at Formello the choir came first in the pop category and second in the category for Choral music from the 20th and 21st centuries. the choir also won a special prize for having given the best performance of the whole contest.
