Besides its regular concerts in Bogazici University, they also performed in cities such as Ankara, Canakkale, Afyon, Denizli, Izmir, Antalya, Mugla, Sakarya, Kocaeli and reach their voices to people in the country. Some of the significant performances of the choir can be listed as Ankara Polyphonic choir Festival, Afyon Classical Music Festival, Austrian Consulate Culture Office New Year Concert, Jungend Musiziert Competition Opening Concert, Istanbul International choir Days (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) In year 2007 announced as ''Mevlana (Jalāl ad-Dīn Rūmī) Year'' by UNESCO, the choir prepared the repertoire including the works of Mevlana and Yunus Emre. In this context, the choir performed in Musicateneo Festival Opening Concert with the theme called ''Journey to Absence'' and share thoughts, feelings and wishes of historical turkish figures with the audience, in a musical way. The emphasis is on enjoying singing together with lots of energy and enthusiasm. Everything is taught by ear - no written music is used at all. We perform at community events and have members from across the mid-Cornwall area.  

We are a Community choir based at John Hanson Community School. The choir is open to all ages and we welcome membership from across the town of Andover in Hampshire, UK, and surrounding villages. Goal of ...  moreThe Youth choir Melissanthi was founded as the Children’s choir of Alexandria Municipality in 1987 aiming to the creation of a youth musical cradle in the town and so far has become a major attraction for children and young people of the city. Goal of the choir is equally the choral and music development of its members and the contribution to the cultural development of Alexandria and the surrounding area. Although it started as a small ensemble singing monophonic or at best diphone melodies without instrumental accompaniment, today has more than 80 choristers, mostly girls, 10-25 years old, and interprets as a triphonic choir almost all kinds of music, with an emphasis on the music of the nations and Greek composers. EnChor began singing together in the fall of 2005. We are an auditioned group of approximately 32 singers, coming from a broad cross section of the Calgary and area community. EnChor proudly highlights the work of Canadian artists, and includes Canadian content in every concert. An important part of our directive is to collaborate with fellow Calgary artists.
