Participants performed in the crypt of the legendary Sagrada Família in Barcelona, in the historic Sant Romà Church in Lloret de Mar, and joined Choirs from different countries to fill the city’s main square with music. The competition became a true platform for cultural exchange: creative meetings, joint rehearsals, and masterclasses with international experts gave participants new knowledge and lasting inspiration. During its 55-year existence, the aim of the Chorus has been development of artistic concert activities through the choral singing, interpretation of pieces of music of Slovak and foreign composers who write their pieces of music in the field of choral singing. The main credo is propagation of choral art and tradition and last but not least representation of city of Žilina and Slovakia all over the Europe and the world.
