Based on a well-known Jewish folk tale, The piece is largely sung in Yiddish, featuring narrated passages in English, with The moral resolution in Hebrew. Performance by The Mansfield University Concert Choir conducted by Sheryl Monkelien at The 2014 World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia. They won a gold medal and second place in The Spiritual Category.
