A week-long festival of music, friendship and discovery awaits! Highlights will include a final night Gala Concert in Worcester's magnificent cathedral, featuring the World Premiere of a specially commissioned work from UK composer Bob Chilcott (Five Days that Changed the World with words by Charles Bennett), individual Choirs' concerts in venues in and around the historic city of Worcester, sight-seeing trips and activities for visiting Choirs, Welcome Concert in the cathedral, and a concert for participants given by a leading UK vocal group. Their activities are set out for the developmen...  moreCoral Stma Trinidad de Valencia was founded in 1977 by its present conductor, Carmina Moreno Llabata. It is formed by children and young people from 6 to 25 years old, who are distributed in three groups. Their activities are set out for the development of sensibility, intelligence, memory, attention, and, at the same time, contribute to achieve the feeling of working together and mutual help and the sincerity of companionship. Likewise, they begin to know the art and culture world by the music, not only polyphonie music, but also popular and modern music. During their trajectory, the Choir has offered several concerts, has participated in competitions and festivals and has done tours abroad: France, Italy, Luxemburg, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia... Following on from the formation of a Birralee Tenth Annive...  moreResonance of Birralee is a choral ensemble of young people aged 17-30 years who collectively bring a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and musical leadership to the Voices of Birralee programme. Following on from the formation of a Birralee Tenth Anniversary Alumni Choir in 2005, Resonance of Birralee was formed under the leadership of Paul Holley. The young people involved represent a variety of professions and a significant number are tertiary students. They share a common love of singing and in many cases are accomplished musicians. One of their strengths as an ensemble is their expertise and appreciation of a broad range of music styles and their ability to adapt their programme to suit any event. In 2008 Resonance competed at the World Choir Games in Graz, Austria, where they won Gold and Silver medals in popular vocal and gospel categories.
