Amabile has almost 300 singers aged eight through adult, in eight Choirs — four for girls and women, and four for boys and men. Amabile has achieved acclaim on national and world stages for its excellence in choral performance, with 14 CBC National Choral Competition awards and 7 international competition awards.

We are also aiming at focusing ...  moreEUCHO is a community Choir based in Scenery Park, East London, under the leadership of Mr S Sonanze as the Director and Mr M Zenani as the Chorus Manager. Our aspiration is to take township choral singing to higher a level. We are also aiming at focusing more on choral projects and concerts than competitions so that our singers enjoy singing and get compensated for engaging in the Choir. Choir members are taught Theory and History of music for free.

The Choir is composed of 16-20 singers from all majors who perform a variety of music, from classical, to folk, to contemporary jazz. Members of the Wesleyan Chorale also perform in the Wesleyan Singers, an open-enrollment ensemble that performs a variety of music while developing vocal technique and musicianship skills.

A year before, there was already a Male vocal group consisting of six members called MIKE 6, the establishment of which was inspired by a US vocal group TAKE 6. Voxtet was basically formed by subsequent addition of feMale singers to MIKE6. The formation of Voxtet started out with nine persons but, during the first three years, it ca me down to the current six members. Most of the singers in Voxtet have their musical background in various Choirs. Some of them still sing in Jihlava’s famous PS Campanula Choir. 1999 Voxtet’s first concert took place on 31 May 1999 in Jihlava’s Horácké theatre. From then on, Voxtet’s performed at various minor events as well as its own big shows. 1999-2001 At the beginning, Voxtet was remarkable especially due to the absolute lack of a distinct dramaturgy.
