He has conducted over 2000 concerts in Bulgaria ,Russia ,France, Holland ,Italy,Spain,Greece,Japan,Macedonia etc.His orchestras are laureates of eight grand,special and first prizes from prestigious competitions in all over the world. Prof.E.Yanev has led a number of master Conducting classes in Bulgaria and abroad. Prof.E.Yanev's pedagogical activity was developed in the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov",the State Academy of Music"Pancho Vladigerov"and the Academy for Music-and-Dance Arts in Plovdiv where he achieved some quite serious results in the "Orchestral Playing" and "choir and Orchestral Conducting". Rehearsals are held weekly and fundraising concerts for local charities are run each year in May and December.

Since its foundation, the choir is in continuous improvement and has been involved in many workshops with Prof.Mustafa Apaydın which were organized twice a year. the choir has a mixed membership including Music teachers, Musicians and amateur choir singers. the choir’s name is inspired by the famous story written by William Shakespeare and Guiseppe Verdi’s famous opera called Othello and the Othello Castle which is located in the city of Famagusta. the city where the choir is based is known as “Othello’s City Famagusta” all around the world.
