Its aims are to rehearse and perform a wide variety of music to a High standard, and to engage with the local community, both in its membership and by bringing top quality performances to the local area and beyond. We also plan to have a lot of fun doing it!We don’t hold auditions and are delighted to welcome new members of all voice types and experience levels.

In touring and recording, Belle Canto has distinguished itself as one of today’s foremost women’s ensembles. Originally a group of university students, the choir now consists of amateur singers from all walks of life. Since 1993, the award-winning "CBC" has staged more than 200 concerts at Senior residences, homeless shelters, AIDS and cancer patient residences, and pediatric and rehab facilities.
