Founded in October 2017, by andrew Leung. Vox Antiqua is formed by a group of passionate and professional Catholic singers in Hong Kong. We dedicate ourselves in praying and singing choral liturgical Music in its highest standard.

We are directed by the dynamic Scott Inglis-Kidger, a Music graduate from Cambridge University and previously a countertenor in the renowned King’s College Choir. Scott selects a fabulous range of Music for us to work on and we are incredibly lucky to be supported by a professional orchestra and top professional soloists. All of this, combined with the commitment and enthusiasm of our members, makes for performances which are thrilling for the audience and exhilerating for the singers. We still retain a sense of joy of singing and of friendship and celebrate all our concerts with parties at our local Battersea pub. We do not hold auditions so if you would like to come and join us you are very welcome at any time to try a rehearsal or two and then decide if you would like to join. With a membership of 65-70 Musicians from throughout the campus, this ensemble is quickly becoming recognized for its Musical excellence. Recent concerts have included Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations and Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. Strong sight-reading skills and Musicianship are important to membership. This ensemble is directed by Dr. Jonathan Babcock, associate director of choral activities.
