The Peninsula Girls Chorus strives toward a high level of musicianship paired with sensitive interpretations of music from a variety of genres. In our quest to become global citizens of The 21st century, The PGC performs both locally and abroad. We provide a valuable resource to our local community through assorted outreach performances and we participate in prestigious domestic and international music festivals. In addition to musical benefits, The PGC offers opportunities for The development of leadership skills, higher-order thinking, discipline and self-esteem. We teach music, and in The process our girls learn something equally valuable—responsibility. less

In its 32 years of existence, UPSA has consistently brought honor and prestige to The country, winning various prizes and awards in competitions in ITALY, SPAIN, FRANCE, NETheRLandS, CZECH REPUBLIC, BULGARIA, SLOVAKIA, BELGIUM, GERMANY, POLand, WALES, HUNGARY and SWITZERLand. It is one of The only four Filipino Choirs to have qualified to join The 14th European Grand Prix for Choral Singing ‑ The world'S most coveted Choral prize. UPSA was also The official entry of The Philippines to The UNESCO International Music Prize in 2005.
In The Philippines, it was named The Best University Choir in 2012 and 2004 at The “Who’s Who in The Philippines” 19th and 27th Consumers’ Choice Awards, respectively. Similarly, UPSA was also chosen as Best Choir in 2011, 2010 and 2002 by The ALIW Awards Foundation which recognizes excellence and achievement in The live entertainment industry.

We give you The pleasure of enjoying fine music and knowing you are a part of a musical community - a team... moreThe Mishawum Choral Society is a community chorus for experienced singers with a love of Choral music who wish to rehearse and sing in our Concerts. We give you The pleasure of enjoying fine music and knowing you are a part of a musical community - a team that enriches The life of all of us. We currently have about 50 members. We feature a variety of music from popular to classical. Our selections are fun and challenging for singers and entertaining and rewarding for audiences.
Open rehearsals for potential new members are held in September and January at The beginning of The rehearsal seasons. No formal auditions are held, but we do expect new members to be experienced in four part Choral singing, and to have some ability to read along with sheet music. We are always concerned with maintaining a good balance of voices, and we cannot promise to accept all applicants.
