A message from the Director: "Christmas 2020 is the first year in our 43-year history we have no live concerts, so we present this Virtual Concert of 6 carols. I am proud of my musical colleagues for putting these videos together. I thank them for their loyalty to our fans and their fellow Choir members, and for their diligence in preparing individual performances to such a demanding degree of musicianship. We all share an understanding of how important it is right now to share the joy of song with the world. We sing most types of choral music, and have occasionally dipped our toes into both jazz and folk repertoire.

İnci Tığlı Ayağ. Since its Foundation, Alegria Chamber Choir has been performing under the guidance of conductor İnci Tığlı Ayağ and assistant conductor Gözde Saatçioğlu. Between 2002 and 2008, Alegria Chamber Choir performed under the scope of Ankara Çoksesli Müzik Derneği (Ankara Polyphonic Music Association), a prestigious association which was founded in 1974. Since 2008, the Choir has been extending his repertoire and performing fully independently as a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The purpose of Alegria is to introduce to large audiences the world’s Choir repertoire from different periods and regions.
