Marryatville High School's Special Interest Music caters for selected gifted students and students with musical potential. Choral music is an essential part of the musical development of these students. The Concert Choir is an auditioned choir of about 40.

In the 32 years of its existence, NJCS has presented Concerts throughout New Jersey and beyond. NJCS was chosen to represent New Jersey at the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division convention in Baltimore in 1984 and again in Philadelphia in 1988. In June 1991, by invitation of the Bishop of Washington, D.C., NJCS performed at the National Cathedral. In December 1998, NJCS was the guest of the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia and performed in their annual Christmas Concert at The Academy of Music. In 1999, NJCS performed at Alice Tully Hall in New York City. MEMBERSHIP The ensemble is composed of both professional and talented amateur musicians. Membership is by audition. The MSU Singers made their European debut in Paris and Normandy during the summer of 2014 and performed 8 Concerts to acclaim during the summer of 2016 in Austria and The Czech Republic.
