We won our first Regional competition and are preparing to compete at International contest in October. We really enjoying competing and entertaining with our bi-annual shows and occasional singouts in and around the Detroit area. Come have fun singing with us at our Tuesday night rehearsals! Our mission as an ensemble is to connect with the community and each other through the exploration of quality choral music, including the promotion of women composers, within an engaging, encouraging, and intergenerational environment focused on healthy vocal technique and artistic excellence. We encourage those with children to join us as we have a tandem youth choral program (Consonare Youth Choirs) that rehearses at the same time.  less

The Or Y-a Choir is a Women's choir under the direction of Nomi Teplow. The choir is comprised of women of all ages from all over Samaria in Israel who come together to sing in a variety of musical styles in close harmony, to learn to sing and to have a good time.

It has built up a considerable reputation singing under some of the world's most distinguished conductors and appearing on radio and television.
