The choir’s musical director, Elaine Chan, is an acclaimed composer and a musical theatre icon in Singapore. She has played a prominent role in guiding the choir in singing its eclectic repertoire of pop, Broadway numbers, classical choral, and even African chants and gypsy wedding Songs. nůmama has its beginnings as a mother and baby group in 2009, and has since grown into a choir for all women.
